Ono grinds in Orlando Florida. Handmade by a kauaian chick hand cranking and serving up a healthier treat.
My dad was from kauai and a proud kanaka maoli. He loved his island and the cultures shared and embraced. ”E komo mai” (all are welcome) Dad embraced ALOHA. My father also shaved ice in Hawaii as a kid and this business is a love letter to my dad. I want to share the “slow it down” mentality that my dad had. The “come sit and talk story“ vibe and make you feel like family when you visit. It’s love, it’s shave in a beautiful compostable cup Hand cranked and served up with Ono toppings that are free of fake chemicals and sugars. It’s how shave ice USED TO BE, reimagined and my love letter to Orlando now as well. Aloha from our ohana to yours.
